BAKHITA, una donna diventata SANTA!

Nata in Africa, rapita e diventata schiava sin dalla più tenera età, dopo aver subito atroci violenze e umiliazioni per tutti gli anni della sua fanciullezza e adolescenza, è stata venduta ad un console italiano che l'ha portata in Italia dove Bakhita ha conosciuto Dio, il suo "Paron" che è stata felice ed onorata di servire per tutto il resto della propria vita diventando suora e vivendo la sua vocazione in modo esemplare. 
Madre Bakhita è diventata una figura molto importante per le persone che soffrivano, offrendo loro bontà e Amore alleviando e guarendo i loro cuori e le loro anime.
Il 1° Ottobre 2000 Bakhita viene proclamata SANTA da Papa Giovanni Paolo II in S. Pietro a Roma.

Born in Africa, kidnapped and made a slave since she was still children, after she was tortured and kept in chains for all years of her youngness, when she was still young, she was sold to an italian consul, a good and generous man who took Bakhita whim him to Italy, where Bakhita knows God, Her "Father", that Bakhita was happy to serve for all time of her life becoming Mother Bakhita. 
Mother Bakhita became an important figure for many people who suffered, offering them goodness and love, alleviatine and healing their hearts and souls.
On 1st October 2000, Bakhita was proclaimed a Saint by Pope John Paul II at St. Peter's in Rome.
